Adopted!!!
Ophelia is a bundle of energy! She is 11 months old, wearing liver and
white, and is quite amazingly active.
This petite girl loves to run and chase anything that moves, following
her nose around the house and yard. When
I say petite, I mean 27 lbs. of sleek muscle.
She spent a month at a wonderful foster home, learning crate
training, sit, down, and stay. Her
housebreaking is coming along nicely, and her dog-to-dog manners are quite
good. Ophelia is smart, relatively
quiet, and very personable. She would do
best in a home with other dogs. I have
not exposed her to cats. She is eager to
meet everyone, and very friendly. When she is worn out, Ophelia is the best snuggler in the
house, and a lap warmer extraordinaire. Most of all, Ophelia needs a structured environment, room to
run and play in a fenced yard, and LOTS of interaction. Basic training with experienced folks is
strongly recommended for this smart little girl to become the amazing companion
she is capable of being. Ophelia was brought to the shelter as an underweight
stray. Nothing is known of her past. She is up to date on vaccines, and is
microchipped and spayed.
