Dog Story: Nini is a very sweet and gentle pup who loves to hug you with her front paws. She has an expressive face, is smaller than her siblings, spayed, up to date on shots, micro chipped, housebroken, walks well on a leash and will occupy herself with toys. Curiosity is a trait she definitely has. Nini loves to wander in tall grass in the field and runs thru it, greeting other dogs she encounters, greeting people and riding in the car are things Nini enjoys. Reminders to not dance on her hind legs when greeting or wants attention are needed still, but she does know the command ‘down’ and responds well when it is used. Nini sits to have her leash put on and taken off, plays well with other dogs, enjoys children around her, loves her belly rubbed and has improved her listening to her name used for recall. Nini has been exposed to a variety of other animals sheep, horses, goats, chickens, alpacas without issue. Nini no longer controls who eats at a particular food bowl at meal time. She is good with the house cat and house Brittany. Nini chews a variety of bones and treats, shares toys well and is able to be in the kitchen while meals are prepped without begging or laying in the way. Supervision is suggested to unattended plates! Nini goes for a walk several times a day, with one walk at least an hour long. She can be vocal at times and mouths objects and hands unless reminded not to. A gentle, kind, consistent, firm hand works best for Nini to be able to demonstrate the great foundation of skills she has learned. Please take a moment to fill out the adoption application if you are interested in learning more about Nini and if she would be a fit for your family. History: Nini is an owner surrender when her owner was unable to care for her.
