Dog Story: Howdy all! My name is Nick (St. Nick to some) but you can call me ‘Nick-Nick’. I have a beautiful Liver and White coat with lots of ticking!! I fool the vets because my teeth are so worn so they think I’m a 10 yr old or older .but just ask my foster mom I run around and have fun as a 7 or 8 yr old would do!! I love my family and I like to play with the other Brittany and with the terrier mix that lives here. I like to be close to people for belly rubs or head rubs. If you are sitting on the floor I will nuzzle right up to you. I have a calm disposition and rarely bark (unless there are turkeys or cows outside). I have learned how to sit and oh, do I love cookies!! I love to run around the fenced in yard and I get along with other dogs and children. I am very mild mannered and I like to curl up and take naps at times. So what is wrong with someone so obviously perfect like me?? Well for one .I do have a bad habit of inhaling my food too fast which in turns means I need to go outside right away. My other not so keen habit ( but know I’m really trying) is that I have had a few accidents here and there. Don’t get me wrong, I have improved 80% since I came here, but it’s still a work in process to understand what my humans want from me. Lastly, I also counter surf a little bit Don’t laugh I may be short, but I am just curious to see what is up there. I do like going into my crate every once in a while and that is where I stay when the adults go out (but I am sneaky and sometimes get out) and this is where I sleep. I am a little underweight but gaining the longer I am here. If you would be interested in adopting me, then please fill out the adoption application and mention my name and ID # and I’m sure my foster parents will be right in touch with you. Oh, they told me to tell you all that I do not take any meds, that I have had all my vaccines and am heartworm negative and on Preventative. All I need is you to adopt me and take me home. History: St. Nick was found out in the Countryside of Southern KS. He didn’t have any tags or was micro-chipped so we do not know anything about his past except he wore his teeth way down and has the sweetest personality anyone could ask for!
