Tiny Little, as we affectionately call this little one, is super sweet and is certainly on the tiny side as she weighs in at only 20 lbs!! She came to us with an unknown past and is from ABR’s overseas program from Serbia. We picked up Tiny at the airport in Boston and didn’t know what to expect- boy were we pleasantly surprised! Tiny Little has been a bundle of fun, and since she now doesn’t have to hunt for food on the streets of Serbia, she has settled in nicely with her foster sister. Tiny is very connected with her foster sister and looks to her for all things to do and places to go. We would like to see Tiny go to a home with another dog. We have not seen her around cats- so we are unsure regarding them. She has a very strong hunting drive and cats could possibly be at risk; squirrels have certainly come to fear her. A good sturdy physical fence is a must due to her strong hunting drive and her inquisitive, exploratory nature. An electric fence would not be enough for her. Tiny is very well socialized and loves all people, kids and dogs. Tiny Little is full of puppy fun even though our Vet believes she is about 2 years old. While in Serbia she was found near a dumpster with two tiny puppies that she had recently birthed. We have been working on house training and are making headway, but we have a small bit more to go. She has had an occasional accident, particularly after drinking large amounts of water following exercise, and we neglected to allow her back outside. Honestly, all Tiny Little wants is to be loved and to have all the attention possible someone can give. She will love you forever if you have some time for petting her and love to share. Tiny will need further training as she is new to what it’s like to live inside. She mostly comes when her name is called and she comes to a whistle. Tiny will need training in basic commands. We crate her when we leave the house and Tiny sleeps peacefully in her crate at night. We have had no problems at all- as long as she can see her Brittany foster sister and foster family all is well in her little world. If you think Tiny is a good fit for you please fill out an adoption application and send it in to ABR. Tiny Little is spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots, heartworm negative and on preventative for both heartworm and flea and tick.
