Adopted!!!
Hey there! My name is Murphy. Do you need a 52lb lap dog in your life? Because if so, I’m your guy. I love to snuggle!Do you need a sidekick? Because, I like to go with my people wherever they go. My foster mom says I have a case of “fear of missing out”. I am really looking forward to finding my forever home, ideally with someone who will spend lots of time doing activities with me. I am in my prime, after all, and LOVE to run and play. And then after that run, I’m totally down to sit on your lap and snooze.I am eager to learn what it is you want me to do or not do, especially if you have treats to sweeten the deal. Just give me a little bit of time and attention, and I’ll figure it out! I am smart, and I want to please sooooooo much. Also, I am very beautiful, in case you were wondering.Foster mom here: Murphy is an owner surrender from a family with a new baby. He is currently getting along great with one other dog sibling and two toddlers at our house. He is over that lovely puppy destructive phase, yeah! Overall, Murphy is well mannered (knows some basic commands, waits for an invitation before jumping on furniture, and does not jump up on people), but he does have a few personality quarks that are common with brittanys (leash pulling and mild separation anxiety). If you have time and energy to invest in a long term companion, Murphy would be a great dog for you. He is a gentle spirit (albeit a very strong one) who is eager to please and has high potential for success with some love and patience. He is a sweet heart and has so much love to give. Please complete an application if you think Murphy is the right dog for you. Please also feel free to reach out to me with questions! I love talking about this guy.
