Dog Story: Milo is a 5 year old French Brittany who has been loved and well cared for all of his life but due to some life changes his family can no longer provide the attention and exercise he needs. He lives best with children and other dogs and has even coexisted quite well with a family cat, although he is known to chase them when they are outdoors. Milo is just fine on an invisible fence or in a fenced yard and he loves taking walks on a leash, playing ball, chasing squirrels, and especially lying around the house with his family. Milo is housebroken and is used to sleeping near the family (on a dog bed on the floor) and needs the companionship of another dog.He does not do well alone, as he gets bored and lonely. He can entertain himself with a good bone for quite a while. Milo is blind in one eye with a cataract that was likely caused by accident while running around the yard. Otherwise he is completely healthy, neutered and housebroken. He does bark when people or another dog walk by but he is friendly to nearly everyone and loves children! Milo is a smaller Brittany at 35 pounds and 15 tall, and true to his breed as he is quick, muscular, eager to please and learns easily. If you are interested in adding this handsome boy to your home please fill out our online adoption application and note Milo! Milo’s owners are looking for a new home for him as they are gone from the home for long hours and feel heneeds more time and attention than they can currently provide.
