Adopted!!!
Dog Story:
Hey everyone!! My name is Millie and I am just over a year old and am full of love and kisses that are waiting just for you. I am house trained, crate trained, do pretty good on a leash for walking if I say so myself. I also enjoy grooming time (I like the attention they give me) Oh and I LOVE playing with my other foster friends too. But cats well they are very interesting and I have heard my foster mom say that I shouldn’t be in a home with one because I get this look in my eye that only spells trouble!
I love, LOVE to run around and play with the soft toys they have here. I have my favorite and will put it down long enough to eat and drink, but then I’m back to carrying it again. I do get a little zealous in my playing so my foster parents have been working with me on not getting too rough in play as well as manners, staying off the furniture, etc.
Foster mom here. Millie, I would say, could make a great running partner as she has the energy to do so. In our yard Millie prefers to play and run around verses chasing the birds and squirrels. Millie could be the only dog but she would need an outlet, like a dog park so she could have her play dates. Otherwise, she would be a wonderful addition to a home with another dog. Millie is very good around our small grandchildren too.
If Millie sounds like she would be a great fit in your home, then please fill out the adoption application and mention her name and ID #.
Millie is up to date on her vaccines and is heartworm negative.
Millie lived in a home with other dogs (a smaller breed). She was just too much for them so the owners contacted ABR and we took her in.
