Adopted!!!

Meet Meg! She arrived to her foster home overweight but is now nice and trim. She is a young 2 yr old and cute as a button. Meg is CKC regsitered but we were not provided with her papers. Meg is affectionate and extremely active at the same time. Meg gets along well with dogs and does not seem to be afraid of anything, even growling dogs. She plays very rough with dogs but will eventually settle down after a good roughing around. Meg has very high prey drive and will go after any small animal (rabbits, squirrels, birds, etc) so she would make a great hunting partner, however, she is NOT trained to hunt. Like all Brittanys, Meg seems to need to stare out of the window to see everything that goes on outside (even if nothing is going on). Meg’s perfect forever home is one that will have the time to deal with her young and active nature, one that will take the time get her properly trained so that she will be responsive to all the basic commands (she currently only knows the down command). She will do best in a home without young children. If you think Meg would be the perfect addition to your home please fill out the online adoption application and mention Meg #3909. Meg is an owner surrender. Her owner tried to care for her as best as he could but had difficulty in the last year due to cancer. She was surrendered to the shelter and subsequently came to ABR.
