Dog Story: Hi, my name is McKenna. I am not exactly sure how I got here but I like it better than the last place. I have threefoster siblings that I love to chase chipmunks and squirrels within the fenced woods. When they don’t want to play, I entertain myself by chasing the shadows of the chickadees as they come in and out of the birdfeeder overhead. I am very active when I am playing outside but I like to snooze on the couch when I come inside. Foster mom says: McKenna aka ‘Lashes’ has the longest eyelashes framing her deep brown eyes. She is the sweetest little female who works to melt right into the rules of the household. She is neither dominant nor submissive.Everyone who has met her has fallen in love with her. In her ideal home, McKennawould love to have another dog tolive with as she doesn’t love to be alone. She loves to snuggle and makes the cutest little groans in contentment when she is being scratched. She wants to touch someone whether it be human or canine when she is snoozing on the couch. She has been known to surf on the counter a bit but is very responsive to correction. She walks pretty well on leash and would benefit from some formal training but is a good girl who wants to please. She is current onher vaccinations as well asheartworm negative and on preventive.
