Adopted!!!

Contrary to his name, Mayhem is a very good natured dog. He is happiest being part of the family. He is a very social dog who wants to be with people, but can be a little shy until he gets to know you. If you sit on the floor with him he will come over and put his head on your lap. Mayhem, or Hemi, he answers to both names, likes to be outside so a fenced in yard would be great. Like a true Brittany he is a pointer. He will chase every squirrel up a tree and point at them. The family he previously lived with said they had a cat and he got along fine with it but he would probably do best being the only family pet. He gets along fine with other dogs, he is currently in doggie day care 2 days a week. Mayhem walks OK on a leash, especially on a retractable leash where he has a little freedom to walk ahead or behind you. On a short leash he tends to pull a bit depending on how many distractions he can find. He will come when you call him as long as you speak loud and clear. Mayhem likes to be with people and will often bark when left alone. When he is with people he is good as gold. I think Mayhem would make a great addition to any family. He is a healthy happy energetic people loving dog. He is up to date on vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped and is heartworm negative and currently on preventative. If you think Mayhem is a good fit for your family complete the adoption application Dog History: Mayhem’s prior family moved and could not take him with them. They surrendered him to a shelter in upstate NY who contacted American Brittany Rescue.
