Dog Story: Greetings world!!!! My name is Maxwell Smart, but my friends and family call me Max. I was born February 1, 2012 making me almost 1 year old. I have included a puppy picture of myself tell me I wasn’t ADORABLE. I was the biggest puppy in my litter, and have grown into quite a handsome lad even if I do say so myself . I am a big boy! But NOT fat as I weigh just 40 lbs, because I love to run, walk and play a lot! My mommy has our neighbor kids come over a few times a week for extra playtime and walking when she is busy at work. I’ve been to basic puppy training, and know sit and stay (mostly) on command. I am house trained and crate trained when I sleep at night and when my family is not at home. I LOVE food, and will try to eat almost anything, including the cat food, so I have to be baby-gated away from the kitty food and litter box. I love cats here in my home more than they love me. I think it is fun to chase them, but I would never harm them. I guess not every cat loves the game of chase go figure. When I am tired, I love to flop on the couch and of course love a good tummy rub or some scratching on my ears and some petting AHHHH the good life. I will jump up on anyone, because then I can get closer to you to say HELLO. I am so friendly but am willing to work on this if you don’t like it. I don’t think there are any mean people or dogs anywhere, and I will leap at the chance to make new friends! I am a teenager, and will counter surf looking for things to chew on, eat, or perhaps find something that will make mommy or daddy chase after me. Wheee! Fun! Although mommy and daddy don’t always think so. I will grow out of that as I mature, ’cause I’m still kinduva a puppy. I am also great with kids as I live with a 5 year old little boy who I adore . My family is moving to something called an apartment due to a change of job. They know I won’t have a place where I can run and play as much as I need. I know they are doing what is best for me but I will definitely miss them and they will miss me. I am really looking forward to having a happy home with a new loving forever family where I can live a long, HAPPY life!
