Country of Origin Greece Adoption Fee $450 Dog Story: Max arrived from Greece on 7/6/2018. He is a beautiful orange and white American Brittany and was well loved by his owner. Unfortunately, his owner has become very ill and is no longer able to care for Max. Rescue volunteers on the ground in Greece learned of the owner’s situation and reached out to ABR to bring Max to the US so that he could have the life he deserves. Max is a sweet, energetic and playful young boy who loves to get pets of all kinds especially belly rubs. Max is a quick learner on most things as he will sit patiently for his breakfast and dinner and has learned the daily walking/exercise routine. He has a great nose and can pick up the scent of any type of ground animal such as rabbits, lizards, and mice. He also has a strong instinct to chase these animals which makes leash walking a bit challenging but he is a work in progress on good leash manners. After a long day of taking his foster dad on walks around the neighborhood, playing tug of war with his toys, wrestling with his furry foster sister and hanging out with his foster family, Max spends the night in his crate without a fuss.
