Looking for a Cuddle Buddy! Hi my name is Max and I LOVE to hug.I’ll stand on my hind legs and hug you all day if you let me. I spent the first several years of my life outside, then this one day a very wonderful person, she goes by foster mom, brought me to this place called indoors in a house, well let me tell you I LOVE IT! And I show my appreciation with snuggles and hugs. Foster mom says I’m a good boy, I’m quiet, I eat well, I sleep in my crate, I’m full of energy, I don’t jump gates, I don’t bark or whine, I go potty outside, I get along with other dogs, even though sometimes they scare me. I’ve never had these things called toys.can I say they are awesome especially balls.I love to play with balls. So since I’m such a good boy will you take me home furever? Max is a wonderful boy who is incredibly affectionate. He’s had a rough start to life, but since coming into ABR rescue he has been wonderful since day one. He quickly was housebroken, he’s quick to learn, needs very little correction. He can be very skittish at times, but quickly gets over it and will come out of his shell as soon as he feels safe. If you pet him be prepared for a sore arm as he won’t let you stop petting him. He likes to be right up with you and as close as he can get. He gets along with the resident dogs. He is a big boy, not your standard small Brittany, weighing in at 60 lbs. he’s either a Britt mix or not from the best pedigree, because of his size I would recommend a home without small children as he may knock them over and may bit heavy as he tries to sit in their lap. He has no health issues, he would love a home with a fenced yard to run in. He would be good in pretty much any home. He will need some training, but is a quick learner. Mostly all this dog wants is lots and lots and lots of hugs and cuddles. Will you please consider adopting Max? To be considered please be sure to fill out the adoption application Dog History: Max was rescued/owner surrender to ABR after neighbors insisted to the owners that he could have a better life. Max has spent all of his life outdoors in Massachusetts, crazy New England weather. Max was kept in an 8×8 pen year round with a box of hay as a bed, and a few propped up pieces of plywood as shelter. He never got to leave the pen.
