Dog Story Take a look at this sweet face. Mattie is a timid little girl BUT is coming out of her shell every day. Mattie loves to snuggle, does not pull or tug on a leash. Comes when called. Mattie has a lot of puppy left in her and loves her toys and is now playing with her foster brother. She does not llike to get in a car, but once in the car she is a good rider. She is still timid with new people. Mattie is a sweet little girl that deserves a loving, peaceful home. If you feel you can give Mattie the home she deserves, fill out the ABR adoption application and for ‘dog interested in’ put Mattie #3311. Foster Mom here Mattie is a sweetie and has lots of love and play in her. She is learning simple commands like sit, and down and enjoying being able to play and run in a yard. She gets along well with our other dogs and shows no aggression. Update 9-12-11 Foster Mom here, Mattie continues to amaze us. She is becoming less timid with men. She runs up to her Foster Dad for attention and allows our neighbor to pet her without cowering. Loud noises do not scare her as they once did, and she tolerates her baths. Mattie will make a wonderful addition to a family Update 11-7-11 Foster Mom here: Mattie jumped in the back of my SUV on her own! Of course her foster brother was already in, but she did it on her own! Mattie is an outgoing, playful, mischievious little girl that would thrive in an environment with a stay at home adult, a doggie playmate and children over the age of 12. Younger children scare Mattie. I do not know what she would do with a cat. Her play companion is a Chihuahua and another Britt. Mattie does not use a crate, she is shy of a crate. If you feel Mattie would make your family complete, complete an adoption application n and ask for Mattie #3311 Mattie has had a rough start in her life, she already has had puppies, was abandoned, and was very underweight when good people found her. With all that, Mattie is gaining weight and looking real good.
