Meet Marley! A sweet little girl in North Dakota. Marley loves to play with her foster (dog) brother. She enjoys wrestling and playing tug-of-war. Marley’s ideal home would have another dog that enjoys playing. Marley is also fond of belly rubs and ear scratches. She will take any attention you can give! She was around my 4 and 6 year old nephews and enjoyed the attention from them as well. She seemed comfortable with the energy of children. She also came across cats during her first vet visit. She sniffed them, but did not pay much attention to them. I am not sure how she would do off-leash around cats. Marley is UTD on shots and the vet guessed she is between 3-5 years old. Marley has only barked once in the past week! She is a quiet girl and would rather get your attention by placing a paw on your knee or sitting on your lap. We are not sure if Marley was officially potty trained, but she has only had one accident in the house. She has started to stand by the door when she wants to go outside. Marley would benefit from some obedience training, but is definately on her way! Marley also weighs 48 pounds, so we are working with her on taking off the extra weight. Marley was pulled out of a shelter in Dickinson, ND. Marley was in the shelter for 10 days and was not claimed, so she was rescued by ABR! Marley did not come with any information whatsoever. Marley’s nails were very long when she came into rescue, and she was quite skiddish about getting her nails trimmed. We do not know where she came from or how she lived, but she is one happy girl now that she is out of the shelter!
