Welcome to America, Margie! She’s one of our Greek immigrants who arrived with her 5 month old puppy, who has found his forever home. Margie is a 5-6 year old Brittany mix; her foster home suspects Brittany/English Setter. She has the orange and white coloring of a Brittany and is the size of a small English Setter (larger than a Brittany). She’s an exceptionally sweet girl who loves to lay in her foster mom’s lap in the recliner chair, going to sleep almost immediately. Otherwise she doesn’t get on furniture, although I expect she would if invited because she loves being close. At night she sleeps on the floor in the bedroom, next to her foster mom’s bed. She’s house trained with a doggy door and knows ‘sit’ and ‘stay’ (in English). She’s very mellow but when outside every once in awhile Margie gets the ‘zoomies’ around the yard. She gets along fine with the other dogs in her foster home and would love to live with another dog who would play with her. If you think Margie would make a great addition to your family please fill out the online adoption applicationand contact her foster mom. Margie is part of ABR’s International rescue effort.
