Dog Story: Introducing Miss Maisie! At 18 months old, Maisie is still a whirlwind of Brittany puppy and all about girls just want to have fun! She has lots of energyand will run the yard at top speed then play a game of chase with her foster siblings through the house. Maisie is trim and fit at 40 pounds and in great shape. She is very friendly, excellent with young children, and good with other dogs. She alsoloves to get attention and affection from her people. Maisie will definitely need a family ready to give her plenty of exercise, playtime, and activity so she can put that Britt energy and smarts to good use. She will enjoy being your jogging or hiking partner, keeping the backyard free of pesky critters, and might even be a great agility dog. Maisie has always been a family pet. She has some basic obedience commands down but will be glad to learn even more in a beginner class with her new people. She was trained to an underground radio fence in her previous home but should have a secure physical fence at her new home. Maisie is current on all vaccinations; she will be spayed and microchipped prior to adoption. Her ideal family will have experience with young Brittanys or similar bird dog breeds and be prepared for the activity and energy level of a busy Britt girl. If you are interested in adopting her, please complete the online adoption applicationand mention Maisie-3507; then contact her foster family for more information. Maisie is an owner surrender from Utah where she was very loved by her family. With six young children and a small yard, the family realized Maisie deserved more attention and exercise than they could provide so they asked ABR to find her a new home.
