Dog Story: Hi, my name is Maggie. Unless I’m doing something I shouldn’t be and then it’s ‘Margaret’! But I don’t hear that very often. I’m a pretty little 4 year old. As for my size I’m a bit on the bigger end of the Brittany scale. My south Alabama foster Dad said I was ‘a big ole gal’. Herself who is from ‘up North’ said I was ‘statuesque and Rubinesque’. Don’t you love how a Yankee can say tall and fat? Okay I stand about 22.5 inches at the shoulder and came in at a whooping 56 pounds but I’m working on the weight thing. I’ve got good house manners and behave very well in my crate. Due to circumstances beyond my control I am only now learning about leashes but Herself said I’m doing great. I’m a little shy when I first meet strangers due to ‘circumstances’ but I warm up quickly. I do like other dogs and going places.
