Dog Story: Meet Maggie, a sweet young liver roan puppy. Maggie was a stray picked up off the streets by a shelter and then saved by some great folks who knew this little girl deserved a second chance. Maggie is approximately 9 months to a year old and a petite Brittany mix. She is potty trained on leash or to use the doggy door. She is also crate trained. While she may resist a little upon entering, she settles right down inside. Being only 17 pounds she might be small in stature, but not small in all the love she has to give! She is full of snuggles and loves to be held. She just loves being with her foster mom and dad. She has not been around small children, but we think once properly introduced she’ll be fine. She is still learning to trust her foster dog brother and sister, but that is coming along with loving and some training. Maggie also has that full Brittany enthusiasm for sniffing and exploring! She really enjoys her walks and does a great job on a leash, always walking on the left. However, with that exploring side Maggie can be a little escape artist so a fully fenced yard and lots of supervision is a must for this adventurous girl. With some training classes, lots of love from a family who will help Maggie understand that she is a member of the pack and not the leader plus plenty of daily exercise, this sweet pup will return the love you give her hundreds of times over. Please submit the online adoption application and mention Maggie-4084, then contact her foster family to talk more about her! History: Maggie was found as a stray and rescued from a local shelter.
