Adopted!!!
Dog Story:
Well, drat! Here I am again. Some of you might remember me from the spring. We all thought I had the perfect home but you know stuff happens. Lucky me! Herself took me right back. I’ve been cleared to look for a new home by both my favorite vet and Herself. Though Herself says I still need a little work to smooth out the rough edges.
As you can see, I’m the world’s most handsome three-legged dog. I’m very active so I will require outside supervision since we see what happens to me left to my own devices. Herself says for obvious reasons I need a fenced yard. A lot of exercise with a devoted walker would also do. I like to stay busy with my business, your business, I really don’t care.
I’m also a snuggle bunny and have great house manners. Like all Casanovas I start out coy and shy and then WHAM! you uncontrollably can’t live without me. I like other dogs, particularly the ladies, wink, wink. I have what Herself calls a healthy respect for cats and little bitty dogs.
So if you need a boy to share your adventurous trip to the relatives’ house, maybe be a conversation starter for that holiday party, or a companion for your busy life, here I am And I’m game for anything. Waiting in Alabama, Madison
p.s. I don’t like washing machines so please don’t put my bed near one. And I really think I would like little people.
Ok folks. No one wanted to put me under their Christmas tree and I know that Christmas money is burning a hole in your pocket. So how about taking me to your New Years Eve party? With only three legs I’m a real conversation starter. Plus you’ll earn all kinds points for not only adopting a rescue with a great back story but a three legged one at that. If you are worried about the only three legs thing don’t be. I get around just like a four legged dog. Though I do look like a bunny when I’m running. It is kinda funny. And I know things! I can sit and stay and sleep on the bed and sometimes even down. My come is coming along as is my walking on a leash. But that one is a little tough since I have to move a little fast or I tip over. Yeah, go ahead and laugh.. between the tipping and the bunny run I will always keep a smile on your face. So how about it? Am I your New Years resolution? Yours truly, Madison
Madison came into rescue from animal control where he languished through a stray hold with a complete fracture of his upper arm just above his elbow after being hit by a car. And for whatever reason, either from being hit or the delay getting help, the nerve damage was not repairable so the limb was amputated. Being a real champ, Maddy was soon up and running, no longer slowed by the dangling leg. He is neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on preventative. If you’re looking for a busy boy who is also a champion snuggler, please complete an adoption application and mention Madison.
