Dog Story: Lucy is beautiful orange and white roan female Brittany. Although her history prior to April 2015 is unknown, we estimate her age to be about 5 years old. She is a medium sized Brit with plenty of personality but is not rambunctious. She is housebroken and has never had an accident in her current foster home. Lucy LOVES to be outside, chasing the birds and squirrels. She needs a back yard and does require a fence. She has not tried to jump the 4 foot section at her current foster home and actually seems to have been taught not to jump. That goes for furniture and beds as well. Her behavior in the house is exceptional. When Lucy has visitors she is generally curious but does not jump or misbehave around guests. Same goes with children, with whom Lucy has a wonderful temperament. New dogs should be introduced to Lucy with supervision as she can be a bit nervous around them, but she settles in well once she gets a good sniff. She enjoys interacting with other dogs and a companion would be recommended for this girl. In her current foster homeLucy has settled in very well with other dogs and her foster human family. At her recent veterinary visit, Lucy was given a clean bill of health. She is up to date on her vaccinations, heartworm preventative and is spayed. If you are interested in adopting this sweet girl, fill out our adoption application and mention Lucy.
