Adopted!!!
Lucy was diagnosed with severe aortic stenosis and sub-aortic stenosis after her first physical exam. Lucy will remain with her foster family permanently.
Update 6/25/19:Lucy was diagnosed with a loud heart murmur at her first physical. Until we know the cause and possible treatment options we will be postponing Lucy’s adoption process, but will update this page regularly with news.
Meet Lucy! A wonderful little ball of energy and sweetness. Lucy is very smart, doing well with house training and has been well socialized with other dogs in her foster home. Lucy’s parents were surrendered to ABR by their previous owners who could no longer give them the time they deserved. Roxy (Lucy’s Mom) whelped two beautiful pups one week after being surrendered to ABR. Lucy has been the vision of health since she was born. She has a spunky little attitude, earning her the nickname ‘Loose Canon Lucy.’
Lucy will be current on vaccines, has had tail docked and dew claws removed. On top of her adoption fee, her new owners will be required to pay a spay deposit that will be refunded once she is old enough to be spayed and owners show documentation from veteranarian.
If you would like to be considered as a forever home for this sweetheart, please fill out theonline adoption applicationand contact her foster Mom, Bobbi.
