Dog Story: Hi there . did my cute puppy face make you fall head over heels for me immediately? My name is Lucas and I am all brittany puppy through and through and I will be 4 months old August 10. My owner purchased me not knowing about all that great brittany energy he just fell in love with my face and took me home. Unfortunately, just two days after I arrived he was hospitalized and could no longer care for me. Lucky for me ABR put me in one of their great foster homes who fully understand what a young boy like me needs. I am having a ball running around the yard, playing with toys and learning how to be a good boy! I have mastered sit and come to my name immediately in the house, but I will admit when I am outside there is so much to see and do that I come when I am good and ready. My foster mom and dad will be working on that as they say that is very important. I am also working on house breaking and am 95% there. Like most puppies I am in that nippy stage and find that my foster brother and sister nor mom and dad care for my nips to get their attention, so I do get quite a few no bite corrections each day and I promise to work hard to stop that. I LOVE to play fetch with my toys and I bring it right back to you. I am a young boy so I play, play, play and then take a nice nap as I am still a growing boy. I went on my first walk yesterday wow there is so much to see in the world and I walk real nice with my harness. I also sleep through the night without a peep in my crate. I am a really sweet boy and love to give kisses to everyone I meet. My foster mom is going to take over now as I have ‘lots to do’ hope to see you soon! Lucas is a sweet, loveable little boy who has lots to learn and is eager to please. He plays nicely with his toys and hasn’t gotten into anything that is not his since his arrival. He gets along well with our two brittanys so I think he would like a companion to play with. A nice secure physically fenced yard is a MUST! Also a dedicated, understanding owner that will stick with his training so he can reach his full potential.
