Age: 10 Year, 1 Month
Gender: Male
Altered Date: December 9, 2014

  • Crate Trained
  • Needs Fenced in Yard

Adopted!!!

Dog Story Lt Dan now called ‘Buddy’ handsome dark orange and white young man with freckles on his forehead and forelegs. Exuberant and energetic. Loves to play and to cuddle. Fine with adult men and women. Probably better with kids at least in jr. high – younger ones he will knock over! Not tested with cats. Has excellent recall on two whistles. Probably has never walked on a leash before –but he is making progress. Housebroken, if door is open, but hasn’t figured out yet how to let us know he needs to go out (occasional accidents by door)- working on that too. Goes willingly into crate at night or when we are going out during day. Anxious when left alone – likely just due to disruption in his life. Again, he is doing better even after just a week in foster care. Would appreciate company of humans (or perhaps another dog) during day. Health check-up was good – heartworm negative and treated for roundworms. On heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. Will be ready for adoption approximately 12/20 after healing from neutering, but can be held by foster until after holidays. Dog History: Buddy is an owner surrender due to a cross-country job move.
