My name is Loki and I am ready to be your new best friend! Let me tell you my story. My dad bought me and brought me home when I was just 9 weeks old all because my dad couldn’t go on a pheasant hunting trip as he didn’t have a dog.When I was 10 months old. I went to hunting school at Willow Creek Kennels in Little Falls, MN. I had SO MUCH FUN THERE! They taught me how to hunt birds and respond to my e-collar. They also taught me how to walk on a gentle lead which I still use to this day.For the next 5 years, I went hunting wiht my dad every fall. We would go to all the cool places to hunt and I would get compliments from the other hunters about how good of a hunter I was and still am!Unfortuntelly, dad started developing allergies and it turns out he is allergic to me. He wants to find me a new home where I can still hunt and play.I love everyone I meet including dogs. Never been around a cat…what is a cat? I will share my toys and am not a jealous Brittany. I’m really good with older kids, but those little ones…the toddlers….make me nervous at times. They just don’t know how to snuggle like the older ones do.At night I sleep with mom and dad. I’m really good at balancing being a family dog and a hunting dog. I’ll snuggle with you at night while you binge-watch your favorite show, and be ready when you are to hit the fields at the crack of dawn.I really would love to find a home like the one I’m in….loving, caring, still be able to hunt as well as be around the family and doing things with all of them.If you feel I’m just right for you, please complete what they call an Application” and mention my name and number.
