Mello came to us from Spain as Loco. While we do not speak Spanish, we certainly knew what ‘loco’ meant. We had no hesitation in giving this guy a home, but our expectations were that we could be in for a crazy ride. Nothing could have been further from the truth. Mello is a sweet boy who is very adaptable. He took immediately to his new home and his two Brittany brothers. He likes everyone, has no fear, seemed unphased by the cat at our vet, and appears to be comfortable with young children. We are currently visiting friends with two Britts of their own and Mello does well in the pack of five. He loves to play with his Britt friends and would probably prefer having another animal to be pals with. He is house trained and has only had one accident so far. He goes in the crate, albeit sometimes unwillingly. He is doing ok walking on a leash. He does try to eat his leash and harness and is quick to destroy stuffed toys. He love to chew on bones. He does not know many commands, but does respond to his new name. He will need some training on commands, but is trying to follow his Britt brothers lead. He does not jump up on furniture, but does like to reach up to the counter. He is small in size so he cannot reach much. He weighs about 35 pounds. He is a small bundle of love who will be a wonderful companion. If you are interested in this sweet boy please fill out our adoption application
