I could go on and on about wonderful little Liza from Greece! She endured a very long journey from overseas like a champ without complaint, and has since become my shadow. She adores her people and I’ll frequently catch her sitting quietly across the room just staring at me. She is very grateful for such little things, as simple as a gentle head scratch and a warm bed. although she prefers a lap. At only about 30lbs she is the ultimate little snuggler.Liza came to ABR needing serious dental care, and we anticipate most of her teeth needing to be extracted. Even with the few teeth she has now, it doesn’t keep her from devouring a full bowl of food!As an international rescue, Liza will need to be tested annually for Leishmania. It is a parasite infection that we do not have here in the states, and is not transmittable from dog-dog or dog-human. Though treatable, it is necessary to beware of symptoms as it can lay dormant for years. An annual blood test and a watchful eye is mandatory.Liza has a wonderful amount of energy for nine years old. She keeps up with the resident puppy, wrestling and running in the yard, but easily settles down when asked. She is a wonderful companion and has been a joy to foster. Whoever ends up with sweet Liza-Lu will be one lucky Brittany owner! Please feel free to call or text her foster Mom, Bobbi with questions. 801-520-2254, or email directly at bobbi@bobbitolmanphoto.com
