Dog Story: Hi! I’m Liz, but I don’t seem to know my name. In fact, I don’t know much except ‘good girl’. I’m so happy to meet you! Can you see my butt button wiggling? It wiggles a lot. I can hardly wait to give you kisses and put my paws in your lap. I loved everybody at the vet’s office and they loved me. I kissed the feet of a baby sitting in a stroller. Now it’s your turn. I’m afraid of cats! Yes, terrified! I stood on my hind legs and screamed when I saw a small black kitten. And I walked in a big circle around an adult cat until she got up. Then I ran away from her. My foster mom says I’m a good girl. I’m learning how to be a house pet. There are all kinds of things on the floor. She calls them toys and offers them to me. I don’t know what to do with them just yet, but am sure I will master that in no time flat! When I chewed on the corner of a rug she gave me a rawhide chip. I sure figured out what to do with that! Boy was it good! I’m about 5 years old, fully vaccinated and spayed. My curly liver and white coat is so soft you’ll love to run your fingers through it. I’m a little bit heavy at 28 pounds but it’s all love and I am willing to share it with my new family! If you think I am the gal for you, please fill out our online adoption application and mention Liz. Liz and her son JoJo were surrendered by their owner to the shelter as they had too many dogs
