Meet Livy! This sweet little cutie pie is looking for her forever home!!

Livy is sweet, affectionate, and intelligent and loves to cuddle and be close to her people (everybody is her people). She gets along with all dogs of all sizes and has never met a person or dog she doesn’t like. She has all the enthusiasm you would expect from a young dog, but she also listens and is eager to please.

There isn’t a trick that she hasn’t been able to learn yet. She enjoys running, playing fetch, having ice cubes as a snack, cuddling, and groaning loudly when she gets that first ear scratch of the morning. You won’t have to guess how she is feeling….. Livy is very expressive, to the point of being dramatic (she will literally throw herself on the ground and yowl in a temper tantrum if you take too long getting ready to go to the park).

Now Livy can be a little timid in unfamiliar situations and will seek you out for comfort. Livy sleeps in a crate at night and then wants to come into bed and cuddle through the early morning hours.

Livy IS NOT good with cats. She chases them and we found it’s easier to keep them seperated so all are safe in the house. A home without cats would be very much preferred!

Livy is currently living with Redd (see his bio and their picture below) They are quite bonded, more Redd to Livy then Livy to Redd. Redd just doesn’t like being alone!! Livy can be adopted apart from Redd, but if you are looking for 2 to complete your family, look no farther!!

HISTORY:

Livy has been with her owners since she was a puppy. Now due to a divorce and a child who requires extensive medical care/surgery, she and Redd do not get the attention they once had. They need to be rehomed by Christmas as the child will require extensive medical attention right after that.
