Dog Story: If you are looking for an athletic and energetic Brittany, Lincoln is for you! He did not have a very pleasant beginning to his short life so we are looking for a loving home for him. He sleeps beside us on the bed but will go in a crate if need be. Since he is so athletic, he would need to go to a home with a 6 foot or electric fence and to someone who would love to walk or go jogging with him everyday. He would do great on an acreage. He has a lot of energy especially since he is only 2 years old. He does like to jump up on you when you come in the house and this is something we have been working on. He is very smart and would do well with some obedience training. He has already learned sit, come, stay and down in the short time we have had him. He plays with our laid back Brittany and does great with other dogs too. We’re still working on his manners since he likes to get any food he sees (probably because he was not fed enough and was pretty thin when we received him – he has since put on 5 lbs). I have also taken him to the vet for his scratching. He was put on prednisone for allergies and dry skin, which the doctor thinks is because of the dry air. He has a couple of places on his leg that we are putting lotion on since before we received him he had scratched all the hair off. The vet says this will help with his dry skin.
