Dog Story: Hello Everyone! My name is Libby. I am the sweetest most gentle little Brittany you’ll ever meet. My foster mom and human sister tell me I have the prettiest eyes you will ever see and the softest coat you will ever touch. And here’s another bonus, I still have my tail, too! WOW!! I am a young pup, only around 1 year old, but I have a very even energy level. I love my fur foster sister, Molly. We spend lots of time playing chasing and tackling each other outside. That is, when the squirrels and birds aren’t distracting me. I have wonderful house manners (as any lady should!); I am housebroken, can be left un attended in the house and sleep in my crate at night peacefully, though I’d rather spend it in the bed snuggled up with you. I’m very petit, only around 30 pounds) and won’t take up much space! I am also a wonderful hostess. You won’t catch me jumping up on anyone or running around amuck when guests and new people come to visit. My sir. I will sit back and wait to be invited. But, when that invitation comes, I am eager for a good ear scratch and belly rub! I get along great with other fur guests as well and I love kids of all ages and will make a great companion for younger kids to grow up with – I don’t jump or knock over and I do not get jealous and wait patiently for the affection to come to me. I would really like to have another furry friend to play with, but if you will show me enough love and playtime I can be the only dog, too. Because I am young, I still have a lot to learn. I am in the process of learning the basic commands. I really enjoy the lessons and am very smart and focused and am learning VERY quickly. Keep checking back for videos to see how I am progressing. I will need a little work on the leash as well. Honestly, until I was rescued from the shelter I didn’t know how much attention I received. Now, I know you are DYING to see more of me and my beautiful eyes (thoughI hear the photos don’t do them justice). Please click on the link below to see more photos and videos of me in action. Be sure to check back frequently as my foster mom is always adding new things! https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ufdae2n5ewqipcr/ebj1AlKW9h PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL OR CALL ABOUT LIBBY. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING HER, FILL OUT AND SUBMIT an adoption application . ONCE THE ADOPTION COORDINATOR HAS REVIEWED IT, SOMEONE WILL CONTACT YOU. PLEASE BE PATIENT AS THIS CAN TAKE A FEW DAYS. : Libby was picked up as a stray in Roanoke, Virginia so nothing is known of her history except that she is super cute. And sweet. And gentle. And Smart and well, I could just go on and on ..
