Dog Story:Hello, my name is Levi! In my seven years I was well trained to love every human with all my heart and always greet them with lots of kisses and excitement. I am the most loving and happy fur-boy anyone could ask for. I love to take a dip in the pool on a nice hot and even cold day while keeping a close eye on all of the birds and squirrels in the yard. I do have a slight foot fetish, and need to have contact with my owners as often as possible. Even if they are sleeping and have a leg hanging off the couch don’t mind me if I just lean on you a bit. I love to help with laundry (play with socks) and even fetch with a tennis ball. I don’t have any accidents and absolutely love rides. There is nothing like feeling the wind in my fur, I love it so much I have even started riding motorcycles I tried to get my hu-mom to let me ride my own but she said no! Now that I have slimmed down some I feel like a kid again, and love to run and play with my foster sister. Though we get a little loud and maybe a little rough, we always have a great time. She has helped keep me out of some trouble by reminding me that mom and dad mean business when they call our names. I love having a strong willed partner in crime to keep me busy.Foster mom here Levi seeks a mature and experienced owner who can meet his every need and spoil him beyond his wildest dreams. Sound like you?Levi is the most loving dog I have ever met. He is super sweet with everyone he meets big and small. He absolutely loves his little sister and is completely lost when she isn’t near. So a home with a good bossy friend would be best for Levi. He is great in the house and very well-mannered though he does like to beg often. Levi loves eating fruit and veggies along with anything else anyone near him is willing to share. He doesn’t get on furniture and isn’t one to sleep in a crate. He is happy on his blanket next to the bed at night. A quiet boy unless treats are out. He is great with basic commands and walks better with a harness. If you are interested in this sweet lovable boy (who wouldn’t be), please fill out theadoption applicationand mention his name and ID #.Levi is up to date on his vaccines, heart-wormnegative and on preventativeUpdateAs of July Levi has been seizure free for 2 months. The vet has given him a clean bill of health and is very happy that he has lost some weight. To add to this update, since we have fostered Levi, he has escaped several times from us. He LOVES to run and will take that chance when he sees the opportunity. Both times it’s been a door. Levi’s past included hunting which is why he loves to take off and run. When his owner past away, they kept him in an outdoor kennel run because he wouldn’t listen to the wife. As long as he wears his “E” collar though we have learned, he listens and respects the boundaries when he is supervised with his sister. This boy is full of surprises!!History:Levi’s owner passed away this last year and his wife was also dealing with health issues and knew she couldn’t care for him the way he did, so they reached out to our rescue.
