Are you a person who loves dogs more than people? Then here is your girl, she loves people more than dogs! Lady is a beautiful and affectionate girl. She likes a quiet home, a soft bed, and loving hands to rub her ears. She is 55 pounds of love. First, Lady’s downside. Lady has a few issues that she needs to have an experienced gentle pack leader to help her feel secure and happy. Yet, her issues are not issues for the right people! She is not good with other dogs so no dogs or other pets in the home. Dog parks would not be fun for her either. She has separation anxiety and wants to be with people. It would be ideal if she had a doggie door to come and go as she likes when you are home. For the safety of all, she needs a fence. We crate our own Brittanys when we are not at home and recommend you do the same with her. She jumps up on people although gets off when told to do so. Because of that, we are saying no children. Second, Lady has so many assets. She is just an all-around good dog. She is a beauty – and that tail! Oh so gorgeous. She will wrap it around your wrist as you pet her. She is not just another pretty face, though. She is intelligent, has a good attitude, she goes into a crate with a treat, she sleeps well on a dog bed near you at night – except during thunderstorms when she may try sneaking up on the bed for comfort. She takes hand commands (like come, go). She has good recall and comes when called. She will sit when told to do so. She has excellent house manners and has had no accidents. She likes to curl up near you and relax. Lady desperately needs to find her forever home. We have three Brittanys and it has been a sacrifice on our part to keep the dogs separated yet still give Lady a feel for what a home can be like. She is worth all that we have done but our three Brittanys need us too (one is blind, one has cancer.)
