    Adopted!!!

Klove is a 22 pound spit fire. At ten months she is not your typical Brittany. She is house broken and crate trained. What is amazing is that Klove, does not get into things. She does not chew things she shouldn’t like most puppies do. She is full of energy and loves to swim in the brook and run in the dog park. What she does need is leash training. She is horrible at that! We have been using the halty head leash, which she hates. But with more training she will learn that too. She is very feisty and needs a strong owner. Probably no children as she has a tendency to be nippy when she gets excited. She loves playing with the resident brits and likes to retrieve in the house. When she is outside she is completely mesmerized by anything with wings. Birds, butterflies, bugs It doesn’t matter she will point them all! Klove would love to have a secure fenced yard where she will be able to run and play. So if you are looking for a young, loving, strong willed pup then Klove is the one for you. If you are interested and would like to be considered for Klove’s new forever home, then please fill out our adoption application Klove was surrendered to rescue when the family realized that they were not able to care for Klove the way she needed to be, so once she came into rescue, ABR was able to then get the surgery that was necessary to treat her broken leg. Klove had broken her leg with her previous owner and surgery was imminent and necessary to correct her injury and to be sure there was no permanent damage as she grows. So Klove was taken to a specialist to have the surgery as soon as we brought her into rescue. She has recovered very nicely after a long 6-8 weeks in a cast, she was a trooper. After Klove has conquered her leg injury and has finally gotten a chance to become a dog and learn what it is like to be a puppy . She is now conquering a skin condition which requires follow up visit and medications. She has had to endure more than she should have to in her short life, but we are committed to getting this sweet girl ready for he forever home. Klove would love to have a Brittany Buddy to help with her ongoing vet bills If you can help with any donation it will go directly to her care it would be deeply appreciated. Just click the Brittany Buddy link or banner above. Klove and all of us with ABR greatly appreciate your generosity. Klove would if she could give you all some puppy kisses to thank you all for your generosity and helping with her care.
