Therefore, at this time we are not accepting any new applications as of 3/16/14. Dog Story: Hello out there! I’m Kira and I’m currently on vacation with my foster Mom and her dog. I love to play with my friend Abby and could play for hours every day. I have learned a lot in just a few weeks, for example, I REALLY enjoy being indoors instead of living outside in a kennel. I’m curious, playful, happy, energetic, and gentle. My foster Mom cooks for me while I watch. I’m being spoiled and love every minute of it. Everybody fusses over me whenever I go bye. I like this new life of mine. The only thing that could be better is to find my forever family. Is that you? Foster mom here Kira is a very special beautiful Brittany puppy. She is fun, very smart, quick to learn new things, and eager to please. She came to me with a fear and distrust of humans. She now gives kisses and loves to cuddle. Kira has learned her name, and the commands come, no, bye, potty outside, treat, dinner, and cookie in a very short period of time. Her play bite is very gentle, as well as when she takes food from your hand. Kira is 90% housetrained and would do well with a doggie door. Kira’s Ideal home should have another Brittany or dog as a companion as she needs this for continued confidence boosting and companionship as well as an active family that would keep her ‘engaged’ most of the time. Kira does all the darling things that puppies do but without the damage or chewed shoes. Kira is a great dog, extremely lovable, and would make any family proud to own her. Kira is one of several puppies that came from a breeder who has gotten out of the business.
