We will not be transporting King because of the COVID-19 pandemicMeet King! He’s a handsome fellow with a great personality. He loves hanging out with other dogs (though not necessarily very small dogs) and absolutely loves humans. King is a little too curious about cats for his own good, but is well-behaved around kids, though his excitement can turn him into a bulldozer at times. At 38 lbs, King is a pretty typical Brittany. He has a lot of energy, but is also happy to curl up and cuddle. He’ll do well with access to a fenced yard with opportunity to run and play. He’s a very curious guy and loves to investigate all the scents to be found. Given the recent changes in his life, he has pretty significant separation anxiety, and would prefer a family with more time available to build a relationship.King is lovable and good-natured, but has a couple issues that are resolving in foster care.King was intact when surrendered and is recovering from his neuter surgery. He was marking in the house heavily pre-surgery, but isn’t marking inside now. With control of water intake and regular trips out to potty, King is advancing well with house training.Counters are also very tempting with lots of treasure to discover. It will take some patience to learn some boundaries.King is neutered, chipped, heartworm negative and on preventative.
