Adopted!!!
Please leave in pending. Because she came to ABR from a seizure, I’d rather not make her public unless we absolutely can’t find an adopter among our previously approved applicants.
Meet Genny – a lovely, lively, energetic almost 3-year-old, 38 lb. female with personality and love to spare! Genny is a real sweetheart who wants nothing more than to be next to people. She’s housebroken, good on a leash and goes into her crate when needed, but mostly wants to spend her time playing with toys and lying by the side of someone who loves her! Genny needs some work on basic manners as she has a tendency to jump up when she wants attention (which is often!). Basic obedience training will be a great way to ensure she becomes a wonderful family friend. She gets along well with the resident male dog, but will need a household where she can be either the only dog or the alpha female among the four-leggeds! She has not been tested with cats, but wants to say hello to everyone she meets with tail wagging! Genny had a bit of a rough start – she had a litter of puppies as recently as last year and has tested positive for Lyme, although she shows no signs of it at all and is otherwise perfectly healthy. She has been spayed and is currently on a course of antibiotics – and she’s ready to find her forever family and give them all the love she has to give! If you’re looking for a smart, active, loving little bundle of high-energy sweetness, fill out an adoption form today! Genny is looking forward to meeting you!
Please change Genny’s name to Kayleigh. She is with a foster to adopt family and they have chosen Kayleigh since she didn’t answer to Genny
