Dog Story: Josie was taken to a local vet by her owner to be euthanized for a minor health problem. The vet immediately called me and I agreed to take her and have her illness taken care of. The vet did the surrender paperwork and kept Josie at the office for various health checks. All the tests showed that she was perfectly healthy and no apparent problems. Josie has settled into her foster home with the other dogs and her true personality is beginning to show. She is fairly active and plays well with others, but settles down when in the house. She is housetrained and now is crate trained after a few days of not wanting to go in the crate. She would be suited to an active family who can give her lots of attention.
