Hi out there! I’m Joe and my foster parents call me a PISTOL! I am 6 yrs young and have all that Brittany personality. Wanna know what my favorite things to do are? Well first, I LOVE THE WATER. If I see it, I’ll be in it. Secondly.I love stuffed animals ESPECIALLY if they have a squeaker in them! I’m a gatherer of these things. Third.I’m a pro at counter surfing always practicing my go go gadget legs to see how far I can reach. Fourth, I despise the crate. I reluctantly go in, but pitch a fit for as long as anyone will listen. Then I give up and take a nap. I’m a loving kinda guy will gladly snuggle on your lap or sleep next to you in bed. I LOVE dog treats and well, food in general (referring to counter surfing # 3 above) I currently live with other Brittanys and have been around children, though I prefer older ones. The younger ones, when they squeal or get all excited, get me excited and nervous all at the same time. Don’t know what I’m suppose to do with all that noise. I do have a strong nose and I LOVE to run. Not very good on a leash so I have been told. Need LOTS of work on that. What’s my perfect home? One with LOTS of activity that I can be a part of and maybe another dog I can run and play with. Haven’t been around cats so I don’t’ know how I’ll react with them.just being honest folks! I just want to be your best friend forever and share all your joys and sorrows with you. If I’m your guy, then please fill out the adoption application and mention my name and my ID # 5145. My foster parents would love to tell you more about how awesome I am. Joe was at first a stray at the local shelter. ABR was contacted and before we picked him up, his owner came forward and officially released him to the shelter. Said he was an escape artist and we can see that in him as he is FAST and always looking for an adventure. We had him neutered, vaccinated, chipped and he is heartworm negative and on preventative.
