Dog Story: This sweet little girl wants nothing more than to be your best friend. She is quiet, somewhat timid, and a bit shy, but she is always eager to accept your affections. She loves dog bones, squeaky toys and soft dog beds. Jewel is crate trained, house trained and is getting good at using the dog door. She gets along well with her foster brother and sister and is also gentle with the human baby she lives with. She shows no sign of food aggression and is a very submissive dog. Jewel still has some puppy energy but she knows how to settle down in the house and snuggle with her humans. She listens well and comes when called. She is good on the leash and also an excellent car rider. She would do best with someone who is soft spoken with a gentle hand as she tends to scare easily. She is absolutely the sweetest dog we have ever fostered. If you are willing to give Jewel the time and affection she deserves, then please fill out an adoption application. Jewel was turned into a local shelter as a stray. She is approximately 32 lbs. and up to date on vaccines, heartworm protection and flea/tick preventative, micro-chipped and spayed.
