My name is Jewel, and as you can see, I am just that! My foster mama even says so. I came to my foster family a few weeks ago and I love being with so many dogs! I have four Brittany foster brothers and sisters and get along with all of them, even the old grumpy brothers. When I came here, I didn’’t know much but I’m learning how to be a dog in a very happy place. Before here, I don’t remember anyone being super mean to me but I sure didn’’t get the attention and love that I get now. I am happy all of the time! I love chasing flies, running in the big yard, playing with my foster brother, and figuring out little 2 leggers. I like them so far! I LOVE love! I love to give it and I love to get it. Anyone that knows us Brittanys knows that lovin’g is in our DNA. I really would love a home with other dogs, kids are ok too. Everything is still so new to me so I’d love a mama or daddy who has some time and patience to keep teaching me things. I’m willing and I’m not stubborn at all. I’m very brave and not afraid of much. I love learning so many new things even though I don’t understand it all yet. I’m gonna let my foster mama tell you some things about me too!↵↵Jewel is an absolute sweetheart. Brave. Kind. Super loving. Willing to learn even though she arrived as a blank slate. She has not had any accidents in the house or her crate. She will sleep in her larger night crate all night without making a sound. It doesn’’t feel like she’s been abused, just very neglected and has had no early learning. But Britts are super intelligent and she’s catching on to so many things! She will thrive in a loving, understanding home. No yelling or stern discipline needed. I feel like she would really enjoy a simple obedience class with mom or dad. She would be happy in any loving home with other dogs, and would be open to sharing her love in any living environment. Because she has not had early command training a fence requirement will be likely.
