Adopted!!!
Jed is a wonderful, active guy who doesn’t act his age. He is fun loving, affectionate and great around strangers. He enjoys going on walks and playing with his toys. Jed is a dream to walk, good with cats and small children. He loves everyone and is pretty submissive. He currently lives with a senior Britt girl and a younger Britt boy. Honestly if the resident Britt boy was more receptive, we’d be tempted to keep this cutie.
Jed also is a dog who MUST have another dog or cat in his household. Without that security, Jed is lost and can be destructive. He currently is on a low dosage of Prozac to take the edge off his anxiety. He understands the basic commands, and is just the sweetest gentle soul.
Jed’s perfect home would have a fenced yard with room to run and play. He MUST have another dog or cat in the household. No sight unseen adoptions for Jed. We feel it is important that all family members (human and canine) meet to assure that we have a good fit. If you think Jed is the boy for you complete the adoption application
Jed was an owner surrender to rescue. His former owners had big changes in their home life. Jed had a big family with kids and a cat but then the kids grew up and left and his best buddy, Kitty, died. Jed was lonely, bored, depressed. He began acting out. His former family wanted only the best for him and contacted ABR. We took him into our rescue program. He is neutered and micro chipped. He is current on all vaccinations, is Heart Worm negative and is on Heart Worm Preventative.
