Dog Story: Say Cheese!!! Hi friends, My name is JC (My foster mom calls me Jake.) I was picked up as a stray and no one came to claim me. I’m a really sweet boy. I’ll sit really pretty and come if you call and somebody in my past taught me some really good manners, because I know how to shake hands with you. The vet thinks I’m about 4 and I’m a pretty low key guy. I love a good walk, but I’m also ready to just hang out an chill with the resident 5 year old child. I’m a very patient boy and I’ll lay right on the floor with her and let her play vet with me. I actually have to visit the real vet a lot, because while I am mostly a healthy boy, I have heartworms. I’m just starting my treatment and will be with my foster family the rest of the summer while I undergo the expensive, long treatment that will help me get better so that I can finally get a furever family of my own. If you can, will you consider being my Brittany Buddy. If you click on the banner above, you can donate to my medical care and help ABR get me all better and ready to adopt. Update 11.16.17 JC diagnosed with aggressive form of cancer. FTA family wants to keep him through the end rather than his returning to ABR foster care.
