Jasper is a very sweet senior Britt who hails from Spain having become a US ‘resident’ right after Thanksgiving! He’s a 10 yr young, black roan Brittany that just wants to be loved. Even with the potential language difference, Jasper knew his name and had recall immediately. In addition, much to his new foster mom’s delight, he was housebroken! Nothing is known about his history in Spain or what his life was like previously. Jasper is still building his confidence and sometimes likes to retreat to a quiet corner in another room away from his three foster siblings. When near his human, he is a ‘velcro’ dog and right under foot. At night he likes to cuddle right next to his foster mom to watch some TV! He is a laid-back dog with this easy-going personality that fit right in with his foster friends from day one! When Jasper arrived at his foster family, it was a non-event with the other resident Britts. Jasper takes cues from his pack mates so a companion dog for him is important. Also, a fenced yard is a must so Jasper can continue to safely enjoy the freedom of the good life. He loves to run with abandon in my backyard. He received heartworm treatment while in Spain and will be rechecked in March 2019. Jasper is microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, Leishmania negative and neutered. This fabulous boy is actually a Foster to Adopt with us, and has found his forever home. We wanted to share his success story and encourage folks to consider adoption. If you are interested in adopting any of Jasper’s fellow travelers, please complete the adoption application
