The adoption fee for international rescues is $450** Dog Story: Jason is an energetic and loving 2 year old male recently coming to California from Greece. He does not know English, but he already knows his name and is learning very quickly his basic commands of sit, come, down. Walking on a leash is still a work in progress. When Jason was rescued from the streets of Greece it was evident that his left front leg was broken and that it had been broken for awhile as he was already very skilled at getting around with three legs. After consideration it became clear the best route for Jason was to amputate his leg and he has not missed it one bit. In fact he even has mastered digging and burying his bones for later. Jason loves to spend hours curled up next to you, responding to love, tummy rubs, kisses with complete acceptance. He loves to ride in cars, run in the yard and is learning to come when called. Jason, even with only three legs, follows a scent with his nose never leaving the ground and points birds in his own way that shows the joy he experiences doing what Brittany’s do best. Jason needs to learn boundaries and signals from other dogs about approaching them when playing or wanting to play. With strong and loving guidance he will learn as he is beginning to now bit by bit. As Jason’s foster Mom and having owned about 6 Brittany’s I find Jason to be one of the most loving Brittany’s I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. He will be a great addition to any family with time to train his young energy and enthusiasm. If you would like to make Jason part of your family please fill out the online adoption applicationand mention Jason. Dog History Jason is one of several dogs rescued from Greece.
