Dog Story: Meet Jake, a happy and healthy 2 year old male. Jake was found wandering the streets of Wichita late last year. He is looking for someone that would appreciate a calm and relaxed Brit in the house but also a family that would exercise him and hopefully take him hunting. Jake is learning commands at a rapid pace and is a gentleman in the home. He gets along with other dogs and cats and other people. In the field he will come alive and his hunting instinct really shows up. He’s got a good nose and uses it. We’re working with him now on field commands and he should make a good hunter with some training. Jake is larger than some Brittanies at 46 lbs and he’s currently regaining some weight. Before we got Jake he was with a farm family and was never confined. Still he stayed around at all times and never ran off. If you’re looking for a Brittany that combines the best of a house dog and a field dog this could be your boy.
