Hi there! I’m Jake, a purebred Brittany with the AKC papers to prove it. I’m a 52-pound handsome boy who would love to please my new forever owners. My favorite activities are talking walks, keeping my yard free of squirrels, playing fetch with a tennis ball, oh and of course, accepting all the pets and rubs that are handed out. Jake’s foster parents here. Jake is such a sweet boy who really likes to be happy. Jake does get along with other dogs (don’t know about cats), but also seems like he would be perfectly fine getting all the attention by himself. Jake has been recently neutered, micro-chipped, is heartworm negative, up to date on all vaccinations and in very good shape. He is easy to walk on a leash and, as stated by Jake himself, fetches a tennis ball and will drop it at right at your feet every time. Jake has been an outdoor dog, so we are working on his inside skills and he is learning rapidly. We don’t know if Jake has ever hunted but he shows a lot of drive along those lines, so he might be a good candidate. If you would like to adopt Jake please complete the adoption application and mention his name and ID#. Jake is an owner surrender whose owner passed away and the family couldn’t take care of him, so they contacted ABR to help find him a forever home.
