Jackson is a typical brittany. He is sweet, loving, and ready to chase squirrels, birds, lizards. He smiles at you, will rest his head in your lap for pets, and just loves the attention of humans.Jackson is a typical brittany puppy. He is easily distracted, and his attention span is short. He does know some commands, but he sometimes chooses to not listen. He loves to play and will make his disobedience a game.Jackson is a larger Brittany, tall and weighing in at 50 pounds. He pulls when walked, but can be redirected when using a harness.Jackson is just interested in everything: new smells, new playmates, squirrels, birds, lizards well, anything that moves. But as a young puppy his hunting instinct was not well developed, so he was given up by his first owner as a hunting wash out.Jackson has come into rescue because he has now found that jumping his 6 foot fence is a fun thing to do. His owners fear for his safety, and have tried everything they can to keep him from jumping, but when left alone over he goes.Jackson is looking for a family who are dedicated to training him how to be a good boy, with good manners, and to stay home. He is crate trained, but has so much energy that if crated for long periods of time (for his safety) he will need lots of play time to work out his energy. He needs a large yard and would do well with a canine companion.
