Adopted!!!
Dog Story:
Jack is a big lover boy at 70 pounds. He does not realize he is so large, and will try to sit on your lap. He is a 2 year old ball of energy.
Jack knows basic commands such come, sit, down, leave it, and off. He does best with an e-collar on, and that little buzz reminder works wonders for him. Jack needs his person/people to firmly take charge, and preferably take an obedience class with him as he has had no formal training. He has had formal training for pointing upland birds, and understands and loves it! He will be a fine dog for either AKC Hunt Trials, or Field Trials with the right person.
Jack, being such a big guy, would do best in an active adult family with no small children under 12. He loves all people, and gets along very well with any dog we have put him with. Jack CANNOT be placed in a home with other small animals, especially cats. He has a very high prey drive, and even though he has never deliberately hurt a cat, he does jump and bark at them making quite a ruckus. Since he loves being outdoors, a hunting family would be perfect. Jack needs lots of exercise every day in order to tire him out . He will do best in a situation where he is not crated more than a few hours a day.
If you think have room in your home and heart for this big sloppy kisser, send in your adoption application today!
