  • Crate Trained
  • OK with Dogs
  • Needs Fenced in Yard

Adopted!!!

May 29, 2011 Hunter was rescued from a short-term shelter and taken to a vet in Oroville for initial evaluation and neutering. He was moved to a foster in San Rafael, CA 5/30. We were told that he was kenneled with 5 other dogs and got along with them well. More info will be forthcoming from his foster home. Update 6/2/2011: Hunter is an exuberant and affectionate young Brittany boy. He does not appear to have much training, but is eager to please. He quickly learned to sit on command for treats. We are working on ‘down’ and walking on a leash without crossing in front of his handler. He sleeps at night in a crate, and there have been no ‘accidents’ indoors. He is very people oriented and would love to have a person or family who is very active. He would do well in agility training. He does not seem to have hunting experience, at least not compared with my own dog, but certainly has the energy to run all day in the field.
